Emily ortiz franco
Hello! I’m Emily, and I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. I’m genuinely passionate about the impact of my work in education and program evaluation. My academic background laid a solid foundation for this career, with a master’s degree in public policy evaluation from the University of Seville and a Master’s in Educational Research and Evaluation from the University of Puerto Rico. These academic experiences honed my skills and ignited my interest in evaluating and improving educational programs and projects.
I have contributed to numerous impactful projects through my role at Catalyst Consulting Group since 2023. I’m excited to be part of this fantastic team! We collaborate with different stakeholders and partners to assess and enhance STEM professional fields in island communities, such as Guam, the US Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico, and create sustainable and inclusive STEM environments around the US.
In addition to my work with large-scale projects, I provide business, operational, and technological advice to private clients. This aspect of my career is particularly fulfilling as it allows me to apply my evaluation skills in diverse contexts. From developing needs assessments and business plans to process reengineering and integrating digital systems, I thrive on helping businesses and organizations optimize their operations and achieve their goals.
I really enjoy work involving meticulous data management and analysis to ensure that our strategies are data-driven and effective. Through rigorous evaluation and strategic planning, I believe we can foster environments that support learning, growth, and innovation. This belief keeps me motivated and excited about the work I do every day!
