Jane Robertson Evia

Jane is a Collegiate Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics at Virginia Tech. She has worked with Catalyst since 2011, focusing on data collection, analysis, and reporting; data visualization; and manuscript writing. One of her passions is the use of effective data visualization as a means of meaningfully communicating scientific information. Jane took the tour of North Carolina universities, earning her Bachelor’s degree from NC State University, her Master’s degree from Appalachian State University, and her Ph.D. from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
